Who you gonna call?
Your local movie theatre for tickets! Ghostbusters is being rereleased in time for Halloween, digitally enhanced (without replacing any characters with CG effects, unlike the Star Wars bluray release), and awesome as ever!
For those of us who had the year 84 go by in a blur (or in a "not-yet-born" blank), now's the time to see what the big deal is!

Jim O’Rear and Bryan Wilson’s new film, UNDERGROUND ENTERTAINMENT: THE MOVIE, featuring horror and acting greats Robert Englund, Danielle Harris, Tom Savini, William Forsythe, Ernie Hudson, Tony Todd, Debbie Rochon, Lloyd Kaufman, and more, could be in a 1st Amendment infringement battle with a mid-west theater owner.
UNDERGROUND ENTERTAINMENT, a documentary about a television show that faced its share of censorship issues 20 years ago, seems to be facing those same issues two decades later. The film was slated to have its world theatrical premiere as part of The B Movie Celebration, held at the Artcraft Theater in Franklin, Indiana. The film was already selected to be screened and advertising had begun to promote this premiere event. However, O’Rear and Wilson were notified this week that the theater owner now refuses to screen the film, uncensored, due to its subject matter… ironic considering the film is about censorship.

HELLO, FRIENDS...

ABOVE: Jim O’Rear (UNDERGROUND ENTERTAINMENT) and Tom Sizemore (SAVING PRIVATE RYAN, BLACK HAWK DOWN) hang out at the Days Of The Dead Convention.
I’ve just returned from appearing at the Days Of The Dead convention in Indianapolis, IN… and what a show it was! Even though the convention was primarily horror related, the show mixed in some other pop culture guests and events to satisfy a number of genre fans.
