Macabre Mansion sent a team down to Birmingham, Alabama this past Saturday to cover IMAGICON 2009. This was the first year for this multi-genre convention featuring horror, sci-fi, fantasy, paranormal and wrestling. Yes, I said wrestling! All first year shows have their problems and bugs to work out (and I won't focus on those here) but, for the most part, IMAGICON seemed to run smoothly without too many bumps in the road.

Today, Sony Pictures Home Entertainment announced two releases scheduled for May. "Underworld: Rise of the Lycans" hitting stores May 12th on DVD and Blu-ray and "THE DEVIL’S TOMB" May 26th on DVD. Coming to DVD April 7th from Lionsgate - House. No, we're not talking about a re-make of the classic film from 1986 with the same name - though I'm sure someone has that idea in their head already since we seem to be living in the land-of-remakes hell.

Also announced by Lionsgate is their upcoming release of "Razortooth" scheduled for June 2nd. Full synopsis for both films are below as well as box art and stills for "House". We've yet to receive box art for "Razortooth" but we'll post it here once it arrives.

Lionsgate presents the third installment of the After Dark Horrorfest 8 Films to Die For with a new terrifying collection of DVDs from the popular national film festival.
