"Tennessee Ghosts" Book Review
Tennessee Ghosts written by Jim O'Rear, one of horror's busiest entertainers, is a more than simply a collection of short true ghost stories. The book is filled with photographs and illustrations that help make these stories come to life.
The first thing I noticed was the book's large font. Easy to see and easy to read. It has an informal feel as though the author is sitting next to you telling you these tales. With plenty of history about each story mixed in, this is both an informative and entertaining book. It's not simply a book that re-tells stories and their history. The author includes some personal experiences he's had at the locations which makes this book all the more entertaining.
From the Bell Witch to a haunted Holiday Inn, the stories are all excellent selections. Fans of the paranormal, both skeptics and believers, will enjoy this book. Not only do I recommend you purchase and read this book, but let's all encourage Mr. O'Rear to continue down this literary path and create more great works of this caliber.
