Funeral Diseases of the Mind by Anthony Beal
This book, Funeral Diseases of the Mind by Anthony Beal, is subtitled Fifteen tales of dark erotica. The fifteen short stories are broken up amongst 135 pages and read fairly quickly. If you have just a few minutes of time then you can knock back a couple of these stories. The author of this book has definite talent. His skillful use of language meant that there were places in this book that I was disgusted, creeped out, amused, and even horrified. At no time while reading this book did I feel that I had been written down to or that the work had been dumbed down to appeal to the masses. His wicked and macabre sense of humor also shows through his writing.
This book contains murder, mystery, goddesses, adultery and enough twists and turns to satisfy most readers.
This book is definitely dark!
It is definitely erotica!
It certainly fits the bill for Dark Erotica Genre and I will be on the look out for Mr. Beal's work in the future
Reviews are the biased opinion of the author and may not reflect the opinion of Macabre Mansion
