Review: Resident Evil: Afterlife

Resident Evil Afterlife is the latest installment from Paul W.S. Anderson and the 4th in the series of Resident Evil movies. It is also the first film in the series to be released in 3D. In the film Alice searches for and rescues remaining survivors in Los Angeles of the T-virus outbreak, who team up against Albert Wesker, the head of the Umbrella Corporation. Elements from Resident Evil 5 were incorporated into the film. Chris Redfield, a primary character from the video games was featured for the first time in the film franchise. Other characters from the games and films who return are: Claire Redfield, Albert Wesker, and Jill Valentine. Filming took place in Toronto from September to December 2009 using James Cameron's 3D Fusion Camera System. The film was released in 3D and IMAX 3-D theaters on September 10, 2010.

Resident Evil: Degeneration

In a style only reminiscent from the original PlayStation in the early 90's, Resident Evil Degeneration
returns us to Resident Evil's CG roots. Even though corny at times, Degeneration is interesting enough to attract any Resident Evil fan.

[REC] 2

Can [REC] 2 surpass the original? Yes and it does with the same style as the first, suspense, shaky cam, and a chaotic unease that makes one feel as if they are really apart of the film. REC 2 is a Spanish horror film that is the sequel to 2007's REC. Written and directed by Jaume Balagueró and Paco Plaza, both of whom returned from the previous film, the story takes place immediately after the events of the first film. Because so, many unsolved situations are tied together.

His new job is hunting down the monsters that the government doesn't want you to know about. You know, the zombies, wights, vampires and other creatures that shouldn't exist.
